California Miss Amazing
The Miss Amazing Pageant is a program that provides girls and young women with disabilities the opportunity to build self-confidence in a supportive environment.
Being the State Director for California Miss Amazing allowed me to combine all of my passions including: women empowerment, supporting and uplifting those with disabilities, and event production, while making a difference in others lives.
The founder of Miss Amazing, Jordan Somer, and I had competed in the same pageant years ago. I was beyond excited when she asked me to serve as an Event Manager at Miss Amazing Nationals in 2015. After being involved with Best Buddies where I participated in numerous events, worked with USC’s Disability Services Program to plan the first and second ever USC Wheelchair Basketball game as Student Body Vice President at USC, and honed in on my love of production through my degree in Media Arts + Practice Student, this organization fills my heart with so much joy.
